Helpers check in
A QR code hangs at the assembly point. Responders scan their registration card, spontaneous volunteers watch the safety briefing as a video and receive a volunteer ID.
Unit registration · Spontaneous volunteers
The K-Schutz Suite connects incident command, medical service, care, volunteer registration, warehouse and logistics. It runs on one computer in the incident network – helpers use their own phone in the browser, without an app and even without internet.

When a casualty treatment area is set up, a gym becomes an emergency shelter or a care home has to be evacuated, every minute counts. The suite replaces paper slips, radio messages and spreadsheets with one shared view of the situation.
A Windows laptop in the incident network is enough. No cloud service, no dependence on the mobile network – the data stays with your organisation.
Scan a QR code, sign in, get started. Responders register with their registration card, squad leaders report their strength from the vehicle.
A casualty from the decontamination site appears at the treatment area, a logistics delivery in the shelter's stock, and every figure live at incident command.
Each module can be switched on individually. Users and rights are managed centrally in the admin module – once signed in, people move between modules without signing in again.
Example from the exercise scenario “Flood on the river Regen”: treatment area on the riverbank, emergency shelter in the gym, supplies from the civil protection warehouse.
A QR code hangs at the assembly point. Responders scan their registration card, spontaneous volunteers watch the safety briefing as a video and receive a volunteer ID.
Unit registration · Spontaneous volunteers
At the treatment area every patient is recorded with a triage category. Patients from decontamination or an evacuation arrive with their data – no typing it in again.
Treatment · CBRNE · Medical record

The emergency shelter registers arrivals, assigns places and manages distribution. Person information matches enquiries against all registrations.
Care · Person information

Logistics sees the shortages of the care stations, puts together packing lists and books the stock that expires first. The driver confirms the delivery with a signature.
Logistics · Warehouse · Vehicles

Casualties, affected persons, responders, vehicles and material – live from all modules. Alerts by urgency, a situation screen for the command staff and a situation report to pass on.
Incident command · Squad and platoon leaders

Install with a double click, start with a double click. The suite needs no data centre and no licence server – just one computer that runs during the incident.
For preparation the same computer can run permanently: warehouse, vehicles and helper data are then always up to date.
The K-Schutz Suite is developed by Andreas Liebert – a volunteer in the medical and rescue service of the Bavarian Red Cross units in the Cham district, and a professional in IT security for many years.
That is why it works with the forms and procedures that are actually used in civil protection.
For Red Cross branches, volunteer units and civil protection authorities. I am happy to present the suite on site or online – with a complete exercise scenario.
The software and its interface are primarily in German; helper screens are also available in English and Czech.
